Ciao dear fellow travellers
What happened to the Italian balsamic vinegar? The European Union Court decided on December 4th 2019 that anyone could use the words “Vinegar” and “Balsamic” without prejudice for the Italian producers association. The first European competitor is a German firm with 500 Million Euro annual turnover, the same turnover of the Italian producers association. If this competitor takes advantage of this brand for the Modena and Reggio Emilio based vinegar association will be the end. We do hope not!
Therefore take advantage of our daily tour Acid Trip and Parmigiano Experiences in Reggio Emilia Region. The tastings at the acetaia and caseificio (Dairy) are led by a certified taster not to mention the visit and the shopping at the Parmigiano Dairy.
While the local association is fighting against the European Court, join us…!
I cannot stay silent about Corona Virus in Italy. Without entering in a scientific debate, I would like to say that walking roads are not so busy in these days….
Do not hesitate to ask for tailored made tours I received inquiries from Jennifer (UK) and Pou (Saudi Arabia) interested in tailored made tours. Ask for a skype call (free of charge), and we will find together what you are looking for. Syd was interested in creating a volcanic cocktail of “Running + Tourism”. Why not? Since I am approaching my sixties and I should find out a decent way to celebrate! Just contact me now.
