I am so much convinced of this title that I want to share with you some comments of the travellers who joined our 2019 October tour in South Tuscany. Their thoughts are the biggest rewards for me:
The first night at the fortress gave a “wow” factor that wasn’t expected, a fantastic start to the trip. The mixture of walking, culture and food was delightful…a good balance of activity and other experiences, such as the visit to the vineyard and the talks from Sean;
I enjoyed seeing little unknown places especially without crowds and it was a pleasure to walk in gently rolling hills rather than to steep mountains…
I avoid group holidays, but this was great;
I loved the fact that each day and every venue was so varied, from ancient fortress to tiny hamlet, to old town to seaside resort and finally, an idyllic island. I appreciated how much everything was organized and most important Roberto’s knowledge of history, culture and traditions was so interesting and well expressed;
And….of course we walked, the walks were a good distance for all to enjoy.
